I learned this lesson the hard way. Years ago, I chased an idea I loved, convinced that my excitement alone would make it work. I poured in time, effort, and enthusiasm… and got exactly zero results. Then I shifted my focus—what do people actually need? What skills are truly valuable? That’s when things changed.
What People Actually Care About
"Not your excitement. Not your big dreams.
They care about what you can do for them.
- Can you solve a real problem?
- Can you deliver undeniable value?
- Are you so good that ignoring you isn’t an option?
If not, it doesn’t matter how much you love what you do.
The truth?
- The market doesn’t reward feelings.
- It rewards mastery.
- Passion without commitment or ability to be really good at it will be life-draining not life-giving.
Why Passion Alone is a Losing Strategy
Here’s where most people get it twisted:
They think they need to find what they love before committing to it.
Wrong.
- Passion doesn’t alwaus lead to mastery. Mastery leads to passion.
- The more skilled you become, the more you love what you do.
- People don’t respect passion—they respect excellence.
Ever notice how someone “falls in love” with their work after they start getting really good at it?
- When they become elite.
- When they get recognized for their expertise.
- When their work actually impacts others.
Passion can be a starting point—if it becomes a byproduct of getting really good at whatever expresses you life-forwarding energy.
Reality Check: Don't Wait to be “Discovered”
Until you make yourself too valuable to ignore,
you’ll stay invisible.
Shift from "Passion" to Undeniable Value
❌ Instead of "What am I passionate about?"
✅ Ask "What can I get so good at that people chase ME?"
❌ Instead of waiting for opportunities,
✅ Create so much value that opportunity finds YOU.
❌ Instead of chasing success,
✅ Become irreplaceable—and let success chase you.

🚀 Forget passion. Choose something people actually need.

🤯 Don’t just teach—challenge conventional wisdom. Make people rethink how they’ve been doing things wrong.
